I have one more question about the Exprelia that with this forum help is running again after grinder failure.

Descaled and cleaned the machine, and after descaling 2/2 it started to heat up, and then rinse.
The rinse did stop, and machine started to prime, and this cycle was looping "forever" back and forth.
I did stop it, powered the machine off and back on and now it's rinsing and brewing fine.

Common problem or something is starting to fail?

Thanks

I don't know but searching these forums using Google translator I found this post:

If I understood well, looks like similar issue

Too less water flow or defective flowmeter or it's signal doesn't get through to µP.

Tested both pumps and they work perfect 17-20 pulses.
Is there way to test the signal from the flowmeter in the Test menu?

thanks

Oh, one more thing, tried without filter as well, and it didn't make any difference.
No errors as well, it will just endlessly rinse/prime and making air sounds in between.

Also I just discovered that this happens only when the machine is cold.
It also fills the internal water tray.
Very strange

You could try to replace Elko for 5V-supply.

Hmm, interesting

I made short video with pump tests at the end
(sorry about the quality, used wide angle lens without stabilization)
After making coffee it will rinse just fine.

I just check inside and the machine that was made 2012 looks like brand new, no signs of any water stains or oxidation.
Don't see any capacitors on the board PXL_20221105_105825503.jpgbulging neither.

???
What do you think are these 5 huge round things on the board?
One of the 2 large ones is for 5V supply voltage stabilization, change both.
Might solve your problem, if not I am out of ideas.

I know what they are, that's why I said it would be unusual to see cap bad if it's not bulging on the top :)

So, if the 5V power supply rail is weak what problem it causes?
Not enough power to open/close some valves or it just corrupts the signals coming to the main board?

Opened it again

It's often a problem with 10 years old machines, processor restarts or gets confused on poor supply.
At the beginning only when cold, after warm up supply gets bit better and then working again.

OK, I'll give it a try.
Closest I found is 220uF/220V, the originals are 47uf/200V, should I give it a try or order the proper caps?
What do you think?

Thats the wrong one I think, I mean the one behind transformator and rectifier bridge, should be about 1000µF/35V or something in this low voltage range and high capacity.

I found it strange as well but this is the region of the power supply, you can see the bridge there and control IC as well.
All other caps on the board are in the same uF range.
