My HD8953 (Saeco xelsis evo) is stuck in the descaling cycle. It is unable to start because the carafe is not recognized when inserted. I checked the sensor and it does look faulty (got wet on one side it looks). I also checked the circuit in test mode, also not recognizing. I have ordered a new sensor. Question is: how do I bypass and exit the descaling program? I have tried everything. There is no option even in the test screens from what I see. Thanks. I need an Irish coffee after this.
